My GF (now wife) got pulled over twice driving my Gemini back in the day (when I had a Gemini). 1st cop defected her for “Fire hazard” because neither of them could figure out how to open the bonnet. Ah, if your engine is on fire and you open the bonnet *that* would be the fire hazard. Dick.

2nd cop defected her for “Oil leak” which was actually a small amount of green coolant leaking from a welsh plug I needed to replace.

I’m not convinced that cops should be allowed to write defects because if they can’t tell the difference between coolant and oil…
