Some photos from today’s awesome myPlates GR8PL8 Community Event & Car Show at the Royal Randwick Racecourse carpark.

I very rarely, if ever, plan things, but somehow everything always seems to go to plan! For the past few years I’ve tried my best not to put any energy into anything that isn’t fun and hey, life’s been pretty awesome.

For many years people have been asking for me to bring the JDMST forums back. Just last week I was doing some housekeeping and I found a few new old stock JDMST T-Shirts. I started wearing them. I had a meeting with some friends who run an awesome bicycle shop (one of the owners happens to be an original JDMST Forum member and is still very much into cars), they got me in to ask if I could perhaps help them start their own forum, then this week I watched a fantastic video on the death of EOMM.

Timing is everything. Surreal, emotional, all the feels, but I look at all these events as a sign, a gentle nudge that suggests maybe it’s time.

So to those who were there back in the day, welcome back! And to those who are new, welcome welcome. No expectations, let’s see where this goes.

Always late to the party. I finally got to Historic Nights! A monthly meet-up for classic car and bike enthusiasts at the Entertainment Quarter. Man this venue brought back memories of running the JDMST EOMM’s. Great memories of friendships forged and not so great memories of cops shutting us down! Historic Nights is something else though, it felt like a curated show! So many insanely awesome blasts from the past, all in the one place. Really looking forward to getting my R32 GT-R done in the new year so I can rock up to future meets in it.

What an awesome week with Tanuki Racing. We’re emotional. Much gratitude to the entire team and everyone who came out to WTAC to support. Absolute elation. ZEN is back!

Not been to WTAC since… 2018?! It’s been a long time, and I felt so welcomed by so many old and new faces throughout the day. As usual I didn’t end up taking many shots, too busy yapping! But backing 2 horses in the race with Todd and Hana behind the wheel of the Tanuki cars was awesome. Todd topping the time charts throughout the day added a delectable tension!

Big energy, big day and we’re doing it all again tomorrow!

Awesome night last night at the ZEN EOMM Pre-WTAC Tanuki Party at Benzin Cafe in Dural. Turnout wasn’t huge, but quality over quantity and those who came got to check out the Tanuki S13 and meet Bathurst 1000 Winner Todd Hazelwood who will be driving the S13 and Hana Burton who will be driving the Tanuki Yaris.
