Big lover of ramen (like everyone is) and Matt sent me the link to this after I didnt stop slandering ippudo after my visit there. Was not impressed at all with the whole affair and I actually threw up afterwards. I had the 2nd of the 3, the one with chilli oil and garlic and it was extremely heavy, in a bad way.
Didnt have the gyoza but had the entree size pork and rice which was very ordinary. The rice a) wasnt japanese rice; and b) was undercooked and dry. The pork tasted like its been seasoned with a very casual oyster sauce and sugar and thats about it.
