A Type Of Show

The massive crowd sprawling out of the gallery onto Oxford St.

It took us almost an hour to get inside to have a look.

My name on the window outside.

Peeking in from the outside. Almost inside.

My piece (my Bike T) stood out a little as it was displayed up high (which made it easy to spot) and it was a T-Shirt and not a print. Apparently my plaque had $30 as the price for the “artwork”. Would have been cooler if they went for my suggestion of “gold coin donation!”.

One of many awesome pieces on show.

Christina came along to support me as I had a piece in “A Type Of Show” at kind of gallery on Oxford St. Darlinghurst. The opening was tonight and despite the rain it seemed like every creative in Sydney was there. In fact it was so packed that we couldn’t get in for an hour! Luckily we had friends outside.

When we did finally get in to have a look there just wasn’t enough space and air inside to really appreciate the amazing work on show. If you missed it (or even if you were there!) I’d highly recommend going back tomorrow to check it all out properly. I’m still in awe that Luca, who put the show together, invited me to contribute a piece. I’m chuffed!
