Kensington Peking

Salt and Pepper prawns.

Shredded beef, the crispiest in Sydney.

San Tung chicken, Peter’s signature dish.

Crispy Peking Duck.

Had dinner at Kensington Peking the other night with the family (always awesome). My nephew Harris was over from Indonesia. He’s 18 now and looking to study here next year. I’ve not seen him since he was a little boy and it turns out he;s crazy into cars. He remembers one time when I took him for a blat in the GT-R and he says that’s the reason why he’s crazy about cars today!

I’ve got to admit that hearing Harris say that made me feel extremely proud and honoured to be a part of his memories and to be a trigger for his current passion in life. He drives an EG Civic at home and he pesters his dad every day for a K20 engine conversion, or even a B16!

Sneeze Magazine

A while back I stumbled upon Sneeze Magazine. $5, massive format. I didn’t hesitate to buy it now (despite the $13 shipping!). It came today, bit beaten up from the long trek from the USA but it’s awesome. When unfolded it’s huge and all the pages fall out to be massive posters. Visit: http://www.sneezemag.com

Miles steps out into the real world, kinda

Miles, he be chillin.

Richie and I grabbed a coffee this morning at the local cafe with Miles! Miles is so happy and content when being pushed along in the pram, but as soon as we stopped at the cafe he started up HAHA. So long as the prams rocking and moving he’s good. So cute. :)

Unas. I’m over it.

Chicken Jaeger, see the sauce? That’s pretty much what came out of my ass a few hours later.

The Schoff, always awesome.

So last night some of the boys got together for dinner at Unas. I’ve been a fan of their Chicken Jaeger Schnitzel for years now, but over the years I’ve seen the dish get smaller and smaller, less and less sauce, more and more expensive and just generally worse and worse. Last night was another one of those bad nights. Chicken was thin, tough and the piece under the top piece of chicken was burnt dark brown.

What’s worse is that when I got home I had a stomach ache, after I recovered I got a message from Garth saying his stomach was killing him and he’d gone to the toilet 3 times already.

FU Unas. Never again!

Fan of the Van

Whilst many people out there get the impression that I’m a good designer, personally I prefer the work of others. One such guy is Mike Stevens (I call him “Van” as that’s been his username on JDMST since the beginning).

A while back Christina and I got Van to design the VWGolf.net.au logo (which we’re very happy with) and since we’ve opened up JDMST to membership I wanted to give our supporters a special edition Supporting Member sticker for their rides.

Van got it done quick, and in my opinion nailed it first go. I love it! I’m sure our supporting members will love it too.
