A dirty gin at Archie Rose.

Our Melbourne based ZEN Photographer Curt is in town, and so too my car spotting cousin Anthony. Being Easter Weekend there wasn’t much going on but last minute I thought I’d try to get in touch with Road and Track, a showroom which is directly across the road from my place.

I’ve lived in Rosebery for 2 years now and I’ve spotted many amazing exotics in the area, all of which lead to Road and Track (test drives I assume!). The showroom always has some amazing cars on display, but it’s never open (appointment only), and they’re also closed on Sundays, so getting both Curt and Anthony in to shoot on Easter Sunday was going to be nigh impossible, but hey… the universe has been providing for me lately so I thought, why not, right?!

I sent an email using the online contact form on the Road and Track web site which explained what ZEN was about and that I had Curt and Anthony with me this Easter Sunday, and surprise surprise! I got an email back from Ross who was more than happy to let us in on Sunday!

Turns out Ross has been importing Japanese cars since the late 90’s, and he thought we’d be interested in shooting a very clean (understatement!) original Nismo R32 GT-R with only 800km’s on the clock rocking original tyres from new! Sounded too good to be true, but when we saw it, we became believers.

Day made! Enjoy these Behind The Scenes shots I took, and look out for a future feature with Curt and Anthony’s shots from the day.

Much thanks to Ross, sincerely, for letting us in. For more information on Road and Track; visit: www.roadandtrack.com.au
