Cars made in the year you were born

It’s been one of my aims for some time now to find a car that was made in the year I was born. The project would entail a lot of research, time, space, blood, sweat and tears…all that stuff that makes me feel alive!

Out of curiosity I’ve started up a thread on JDMST to see what cars that other people, of different ages, would choose from the year they were born. Click here to enter the discussion

    lol. you failed to mention CASH in that list!!!

    What an epic project. Very cool. I look forward to the build!

      LOL yeah true that Paul. I was hoping that a car from 1975 wouldn’t cost so much. My budget was about $2k. IE: A very low and affordable initial buy-in. But after seeing Lamborghini’s and Porsches made in 1975 on carsales I’ve since realised I was dreaming… bahahaha.

    First Gen Honda Civic? they came out in 1973 I think.

    Looking at that thread its kinda inspiring! So many cars from that time. I’m a 1974 baby too!

    If i had the cash i’d fully restore my current 1987 Toyota van to its former glory! Dreaming!

    This build will be good!
