Plates on the car, pic thanks to Joseph!

My (now sold) GTI will feature in the January issue of Fast Fours & Rotaries Magazine. The photographs, shot by Chris Sorgsepp at Zen Garage before we painted the place, are amazing. The article is hilarious though as I state that I’d most likely never sell the car (lol). This issue is on sale Jan 11th at your local newsagent!

Last night’s JDMST EOY EOMM was HUGE. We packed out the boat ramp carpark at Botany Bay. There must have been 300+ cars with more cars still rocking up way past 9.30PM, but unfortunately the security at the Port freaked out, called the Police and we were asked (nicely) to leave.

The winners of the Speedhunters Street Car Of the Year have been announced and amazingly my GT-R came in 2nd! Being nominated was awesome, but to be voted 2nd amongst such company just blows my mind!

I just wish I didn’t have such a sore head from the big night out last night so that I could truly appreciate this!!!

So not only is my GT-R being nominated for Speedhunters Street Car of the Year Awards. I just found out a second ago that it’s also being nominated for Speedhunters Awards – Reader Car of the Year! I’m not getting my hopes up for winning either award… I’m just super happy that my car was nominated, twice! :)

The Golf was sold last week. I’ve been driving my Mum’s SLK for a week (looking very homosexual indeed). I was VERY close to buying an EVO TME (again) but didn’t trust any of the cars on carsales (all of which had 40,000kms, yeah right). I was also very close to buying Zi’s Jazz, which would have been my 4th Honda Jazz, but luckily I stepped sideways and bought Papz’s crazy clean DC2R. It’s done a lot of km’s, but hey, it’s a Honda! I love the black seats especially (red ones never did it for me). All paid for. I pick her up next week!

Arguably the largest automotive blog in the world, Speedhunters are conducting their 2011 Street Car of the year awards. So awesome to see some Aussie cars being nominated, amazingly my GT-R made the cut! Vote for me?!

Scrape scrape!

I’m JUST about sick of having a super low car. I scrape my front lip on pretty much everything. I’ve already advised the new owner (who’ll take ownership of the car next week) to raise the car up an inch or 2. I’m hoping the next car will allow me to fly over speed humps at speed!
