Lily got in touch about a shoot a week ago. I’m meant to be shooting her friend Mazza in a few weeks from now, but Lily beat her to it! The girl was bubbly as, quite awkward… but funny! Once she got warmed up she didn’t want to stop!

I had Melbourne based Model/DJ Amanda Sierras over for a slumber party last night. Such a mad chika! Super smart, super hot and super driven (she’s just about to fly over to Dubai for a 4 month DJ contract!). Just like high school slumber parties, instead of going straight to bed we ended up talking and laughing till the early hours. We’re both a bit buggered, but we’ll be shooting all day today. I’m psyched!

Rice from 83 brought Jade over for me to shoot. Was a mad meet and greet, especially because Amanda from Melbourne popped by to hang too.
Yesterday I had a really cute shoot with Vee, who had big smiles and liked to pull funny faces all day. Sun was out but it was damn cold! She did so well though!

Last week Krysti and I did a hike through Botany Bay National Park to check out the war bunkers. On the walk we came across an overgrown path which sparked us both to want to shoot there and today we went out and got the job done!
Weather was perfect, and Krysti (miss selfie queen) finally turned her eyes on for my lens! We wrapped up the shoot really fast (I’d guess 40 minutes tops) because we absolutely killed it!

Came home to a parcel in the letterbox from NYC based Artist/Model/Friend Cacia Zoo. It’s a lovely photo book featuring photos by Photographer Michael Blank. I love it! The photos are amazing. Cacia’s amazing!

Had a wild shoot with Cara and Mel the other night! Had so much fun with these 2, so many lols! I didn’t even care that there was no natural light! You can view the full set here (NSFW warning!!!).
My good friend Pauline has launched her web site, and the portrait I took of her a while back features quite prominently on her new site. She’s an amazing woman, and to this date our shoot together is still one of my faves.

A Facebook friend has been messaging me for a little while to shoot his girl friend, who’s shot with other photographers before, but this guy’s a fan of my work and wanted to see her shot by me.
It’s not the first time a guy has gotten in touch with me to shoot his girl, and it’s tame in comparison to some of the stranger enquiries I’ve had to date so far, but it still makes me giggle. Gotta love it, right?!
Jess brought some really elaborate body chains to the shoot. Some worth well into the thousands! She also brought a lot of energy and like the more experienced models I’ve shot, Jess just never stopped busting out shapes with her body (which she’s super comfortable with!).
A fair few shots turned out a little too hot, and didn’t make it to the final set, but I’m really happy with how the shots turned out and I’ve got a feeling Jess and I will be shooting again soon!
