Looks like a boy huh?!
Yeah my sister is preggers! Whoo hoo I’m gonna be an uncle! :) We’re all excited over at Fox camp. I reckon if this little being doesn’t get me over baby phobia I don’t know what will! hehe.

FTS February 2011.

Crazy growth everywhere, check this piece growing onto the glass.
A few weeks ago a small hydroponic fan I had running on the tank to bring the temperature down a couple of degrees blew up. Luckily I was in front of the tank at the time as it went up in flames! Lesson learned: Salt water + electrical fans = danger! Without this fan, and with the weather being as hot as it’s been my tank temperature has gone up from it’s usual 27degrees to an average of 29.4degrees and it even hit 30 the other day. All my corals should be dead, but they’re hanging in there just fine. I’ve resorted to turning on the air-con from morning until later afternoon every day. I’d really like to know how much this is costing me. I suppose I’ll find out when I get the next electricity bill!

Der Rieger!

Yeah how fat is that lip!

I’ve finally sourced this Rieger lip for my MKV Golf (was 40% off!). It’s very very deep and I’ll be scraping the shit out of it on everything out there, but hey, it’s going to look damn aggressive! I can’t wait to fit it up.

At the junction.

At the beach.
So glad to be living by the beach. It’s hot here but it’s crazy hot everywhere else!

Chloe.

Damien.
Had a traditional Chinese New Years with the Locks yesterday. They’ve been having the celebration at the same house (one of their relo’s houses) for years. Seeing little Chloe and Damien running around reminded Christina and Jess of when they used to do the same when they were little.

Nads coming up the escalator to Kinokuniya/Ichi ban boshi.

A couple of mags I bought from Kino.

Yup S2K’s are low, here’s Nads trying not to scrape his front bar by going right before turning left haha.

Spotted Grant’s XS600 at MCC on my way home (I had to pick up a bike box to pack and send Ti).
Caught up with my mate Narada today, been ages. Turns out we’re both kinda in the same boat. Both getting married at the end of this year and both kinda looking for something new. I love that our catch-ups are always constructive. He gave me heaps of insight into the way he’s been running his business, fresh ideas, definitely food for thought.

Just an update on Christina’s Dad’s tank. Water is clearing and neons have been thrown in to cycle the tank. They’ve been in there for a week and doing well, if anything they kinda look thirsty huh?! Plants next week!

Yup it really is.

The public herb garden outside is such a great community idea.

OK so they loose points on presentation, but you eat with your mouth, not your eyes! Tofu has a juicy scallop inside, special surprise!
Had dinner at Christina’s family local last night in Carlingford Court. These guys serve up some great traditional Chinese dishes which I’m not so familiar with and after eating some so so food recently (most of it which has been overpriced, and in my opinion trying too hard), it’s just refreshing and comforting to have such reliable good food.

Our R32’s.

Christina’s interview.

Andy and Herman shooting the GT-R.

Lumix in video mode mounted outside my GT-R.
Yesterday we finished off the 2nd day of shooting with Herman and Andy. They came over at 10am and already the sun was bitey. It turned out to be the hottest day so ever and being under the sun from 10am-5pm took it’s toll on Herman’s face which was ridiculously burnt. I also lost about 5kg in sweat as the GT-R has no air-con, nor any lining so I was basically sitting in a tin oven sweating like I’ve never sweated before! It wouldn’t have been so bad if I could have had the windows down, but with them down I couldn’t hear instructions over the walkie talkie so I had to have them up!
Talking about cars in the interview was so much more enjoyable than talking about design and I thought both Christina and i did really well in the interviews. Also really chuffed to see the boys use a Lumix GF1 for some of the on-board footage. I love my camera and had no idea if was good enough to shoot film for TV!
It’s all in their hands now. Bit nervous and hoping we don’t come across as idiots in the final product!
